Dear Cilantro,

I’ve had enough. I can’t do this anymore.  It’s not fair to either one of us. I’ve tried, lord knows I’ve tried, but we never really got on, did we? You’re just not the one for me, I’m afraid, and I’m done pretending. It’s over. 

Don’t act surprised. You must have seen this coming. Sure, I’ve never said “No cilantro please.” But you’ve spent more time on the side of my plate than in my mouth, and that means something to me. 

I hope you find what you’re looking for. I know a lot of people who appreciate the unique flavor your bring to their food, but I’m not one of them.
